Welcome to our very first blog post!
If you have been following along on social media, you already know that this ice hockey season, we are planning to paint as many players as possible - But let's be real, our main focus will be The Nottingham Panthers!
Ice hockey in Nottingham is not just a sport, it is a community. Every single game night at the Motorpoint is a chance to feel the magic. The magic of the game. The magic of the team. The magic of chanting. The magic of being surrounded by the most incredible people. (Shout out to Julie who brings my child a treat EVERY single game without fail - She is an absolute sweetheart!)
I cannot wait to capture some beautiful moments this season. Every Limited Edition Hockey Print starts with a moment or a feeling that just needs to be painted! Hippo Dad spends hours with carefully painting with acrylic, in a style I adore.
And of course, it means we get to spend more time talking about hockey!
I originally gave myself 5 days to launch this wonderful family project (I know, super over ambitious). It has taken a full 20 days to be able to launch our very first Limited Edition Hockey Art Print of Zsombor Garat, which we have named Zsombor Land. It will be launching on 5th September 2026, eeeeeek!
